America on Demand: HopSkipDrive
Being a parent can be extremely busy, but being a kid can be busy too. Between sports practices, after-school study sessions, and outings with friends, parents can find themselves driving their kids all over town and adding more stress to an already hectic day. A new app called HopSkipDrive is here to relieve that stress and help take some of the hassle out of being a parent.
HopSkipDrive is a transportation service that could simply be described as “Uber for kids,” but it’s much more than that. With the app, parents can book rides for their kids to take them anywhere they need to go, thus taking one more thing off a parent’s to-do list, which can be a huge help. I had a chance to talk with HopSkipDrive co-founder and CEO Joanna McFarland about the app and how it’s helping parents and kids alike. We also got a chance to discuss in-depth the biggest question most people have after hearing about the service: Is it safe?
HopSkipDrive is a great service developed by moms who understand the need parents have to take some of the stress out of their daily lives. Buckle up and join me for a ride on this episode of Tech Smart: America on Demand!
