Police Investigate Circumstances of Car-to-Car Shooting in Wilmington

Authorities on Wednesday were investigating two scenes in connection with a shooting in Wilmington, police said.

Officers responded to the call around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Anaheim and Figueroa streets, and soon after responded to a related location in the 1400 block of North Marine Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Witnesses indicated an attempted car-jacking had occurred.

Police confirmed there was at least one victim but did not provide details on that person's condition, or what led up to the shooting.
