About 3:45 a.m. police responded to a home in the 200 block of East Del Amo Boulevard after a resident called about several people hopping a neighbor’s fence and entering the home through an open window.

Five adults and one juvenile were home at the time and two were tied with zip ties, Lt. Melvin McGuire told KTLA.

One resident jumped out of a window and alerted police how many people were inside. SWAT responded to the scene for the possible hostage situation.

All three suspects eventually surrendered without incident, McGuire said.

Two of the residents suffered minor injuries and one was taken to a hospital, officials said.

No further details were available and the incident is remains under investigation.
