Matthew Little, 21, was taken into custody following an intense search that began with a call regarding a suspected prowler in the 4200 block of West Porter Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Fullerton Police Department news release.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. He was seen in the area of Maxwell Avenue and Auto Center Drive, prompting authorities to set up a perimeter around the location, the release stated.

After a search that involved a police helicopter, authorities apprehended the suspect. Little was arrested on charges that included peeping/prowling and attempted burglary, according to the release.

Little is suspected in other similar crimes throughout the county and has been arrested in five different cases since the beginning of the year, mostly for property crimes, Orange County court records showed.
