Gayle Anderson was live in Hollywood where Project Angel Food says time is running out to get one of its fresh holiday pies, made on the premises, available for sale. The 9-inch pies cost $25.00.
Project Angel Food is partnering with Lyft and Postmates , who together with Project Angel Food's drivers will provide free delivery on orders of 5 or more.
The Christmas pie choices are Chef Daniel’s Apple Crumble, Chef John’s Pumpkin, and Chef Derbeh’s Fruitcake. Also, Chef Juan has perfected a Diabetic Apple Crumble, which donors can sponsor for one of Project Angel Food’s 300 Diabetic Clients.
Project Angel Food has a total of 1,400 clients and they’re hoping to have a pie sponsored for every one of them. The cost of providing a meal is $5.00. Project Angel Food prepares more than 10,000 meals a week. Since its inception, it has provided more than 10 million meals, free of charge to people living with critical illness.

The mission now includes medically tailored meals delivered to people combatting cancer, diabetes, kidney failure and congestive heart disease. More than 98% of the clients are living well below the poverty line. Project Angel Food is the lifeline filling a vital need in all communities.
