Two female students were assaulted within seven minutes of each other at Fullerton College last night, and police were asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

The attacks were reported around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening on a walkway that runs between the 1100 and 1300 buildings, and the 100 and 300 buildings, school officials said.

"A female student was walking in this area and an unknown man grabbed her crotch from behind and startled her," Lisa McPheron, director of campus communications, told KTLA.

The woman immediately called campus safety.

But seven minutes later, school officials said another female student was attacked by a man matching the suspect description given by the first victim.

"I really hope it's not a student because it's really disappointing to go to a school that we have students like that, thinking they can freely touch girls however they want and thinking it's a joke," student Alysa Torres told KTLA.

The suspect was described as a possibly Asian male, in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds.

The suspect had black hair and a cropped beard, and was wearing a plaid shirt and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the Fullerton College Campus Safety Department at 714-992-7777.
