Opioid Addiction Is Ravaging Affluent Orange County

As opioid addiction strangles the nation, it seems to be hitting Southern California hardest among white, affluent Orange County residents, who often rely on the drugs after being prescribed them as pain medication. Last year, there were 160 opiate overdoses at one area hospital alone.
