    A 3-year-old girl was attacked by a coyote while walking with her parents in Silverado Park in Irvine on Friday evening. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Equinox and Silverado, according to Farrah Emami with the Irvine Police Department.     Man Sentenced to 13 Years in State Prison After Stabbing Attack on Jogger in Rossmoor

    A 20-year-old man was sentenced Friday to 13 years in state prison for repeatedly stabbing a woman who was jogging in Rossmoor in 2012.     An outbreak of salmonella that has sickened 31 people in six counties across Southern California has been linked to the consumption of raw tuna, public health officials said Thursday.
