    A 20-year-old New York man was charged with second degree murder Monday for allegedly beating his 3-year-old stepdaughter to death after becoming enraged that the toddler had soiled her clothing, authorities said. Police responding to 911 calls from a neighbor on Saturday found Jeida Torres unresponsive. Her 5-year-old brother also showed signs of being beaten.     He was only five years old, but Nehemiah Hill is one very determined little boy.     A home in an upscale Missouri neighborhood, infested with brown recluse spiders, was finally being exterminated after a five year legal battle between the current and previous owners. A family bought the home, located near Whitmoor Country Club, in 2008 and later found out it was infested with what an expert estimated to be 5,000 brown recluse spiders.     An 18-year-old student was arrested after allegedly threatening to “shoot, stab and assault” staff members at Black Rock High School in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County authorities announced Thursday.     Red Bull has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a class action lawsuit that claims the energy drink company falsely advertises its products.
