Stefan Chase

Stefan Chase fell in love with Southern California at the age of 5 during a family vacation. She’s ecstatic to now call Los Angeles home!

Stefan is a Midwest gal, from Topeka, Kansas and comes to KTLA from the FOX affiliate in Kansas City where she was an anchor, reporter, photographer and editor.

She graduated from Spelman College and started her broadcast career in Columbia, Missouri as a general assignment reporter. Stefan worked in Joplin, MO as a morning anchor and returned to the city to report on the devastating tornado that destroyed the town including the apartment she used to call home.

While she’s wild about her job, she also loves giving back to the community and working with young people. Currently, she’s a volunteer for LA Reading Partners.  In Kansas City, she gave her time to Youth Friends.

Stefan enjoys cooking, talking to her mom on the phone, hanging with her pals and brushing up on her Spanish.  Stefan’s traveled to Africa, Central America and South America. She’d like to tackle Asia and Europe next.
