HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) — The countdown to the Oscars is on as Hollywood’s biggest day is this Sunday.
Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Dolby Theatre, which is home to the Oscars, is already shut-down as crews prepare for the big night.
Many more streets will be closing down through the weekend.
Road signs alert drivers that Hollywood Boulevard is shut down all this week, and won’t reopen until Tuesday morning.
Officials are urging people to use public transportation to get in and out of the area.
This years host is comic talent Seth MacFarlane.
MacFarlane is best known for his hit animated shows “Family Guy,” “American Dad” and the feature film “Ted.”
