Story Summary

The Forum Presented By Chase

Gayle Anderson was live in Inglewood on the roof of the newly renovated FORUM PRESENTED BY CHASE, as the entertainment center prepares to re-open Wednesday.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the once “Fabulous Forum” could be fabulous again, courtesy a $76.5 million makeover that is being celebrated with three concerts by rock icons The Eagles.

The Forum will reopen January 15th through 17th with a series of Eagles shows dubbed History of the Eagles, which will feature songs that the band has never before performed live.

A little more than a year ago, Madison Square Garden purchased the Forum for $23.5 million. Between the purchase price and the upcoming improvements, the company says it will have spent $100 million on the Forum.

By the way, if you’re flying over the Inglewood Forum, look down and you will see a 407-foot vinyl record of “Hotel California” spinning at 17 mph (no word on how many rpm) on top of the venue. It is the world’s largest vinyl record and it has replaced the roof of the Forum until the end of the month, according to USA Today.

That specific album was chosen because the Eagles will be the first band to play the Forum after its recent $100-million dollar renovation, so the point of this is to use “the pop culture power and reach of a legendary band like the Eagles to send a loud message the Forum is back,” says the marketing company that made the giant album.

The Eagles Tour Concert at The Forum Presented by Chase is located on 3900 West Manchester, Inglewood CA. You can purchase tickets on Ticketmaster’s website.
