KTLA5′s Gayle Anderson joined us live from Fiesta Parade floats in Irwindale with a sneak peek of Delta Sigma Theta’s float for the 2013 Rose Parade called “Transforming Communities through Sisterhood and Service”  In anticipation of its 2013 Centennial Celebration, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the world’s largest African-American Greek-lettered sorority, is kicking off its year-long celebration with this floral salute to its heroic heritage and the inspiring women that comprise the 300,000 national and international sorority members.  For more info, click here.

Bandfest is happening this Saturday and Sunday and features the prizewinning bands of the 2013 Rose Parade presented by Honda performing the field shows that made them famous. Three shows over two days give everyone a chance to see these talented musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers in action.  For more information, click here.

KTLA 5′s Gayle Anderson was live in Pasadena Monday morning with a preview of the “Sailing the Sea of Knowledge” float.

The South Pasadena Tournament of Roses organization is one of seven organizations — and the oldest organization — that builds its own Rose Parade float.
