Hiker Missing in the Angeles National Forest

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. (KTLA) — Friends of a hiker reported him missing on Saturday at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The 28-year-old Asian man was last seen on Highway 39 in an area known as “Valley of the Moon” in the Angeles National Forest.

Witnesses say the man hiked ahead of the group and they lost track of him.

Rescue crews were joined by air support in the search for the missing man early Sunday morning.
