Dozens Displaced by Fullerton Apartment Fire

FULLERTON, Calif. (KTLA) — A four-alarm blaze at an apartment complex in Fullerton Sunday night displaced dozens of residents.

The fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. ifullerton-fire-picn the 2700 block of Associated Road. Firefighters had contained the blaze by about 11 p.m.

It’s believed that the fire started in the garage area, and then spread to the two-story building.

Some 20 units were damaged, displacing about 50 people from their homes. No residents were injured.

Two firefighters sustained minor injuries. They were treated at a local hospital and then released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Arson investigators were expected to be at the scene on Monday morning.
