The Cajon Pass was open on Wednesday morning, after being closed for a time just after midnight due to heavy snow. All lanes were re-opened in both directions as of about 2:30 a.m.

Driving conditions were still dangerous at higher elevations due to ice, however. At least eight vehicles were involved in one chain-reaction incident at the Oak Hills exit.
