LAUSD Salutes School Breakfast Week

HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) – Many nutritionists agree: breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

And the Los Angeles Unified School District wants to make sure your children are getting their days off to the right start — with the right nutrition.

In celebration of National School Breakfast Week this coming week, LAUSD Deputy Director of Food Services Laura Benavidez and Polytechnic High School student Jazmin Sandoval paid a visit to the KTLA 5 studios, for a sneak peek at the Student Breakfast Recipe Contest.
