Hollywood Intersection Named After Carol Burnett

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) — Actress, comedienne, Tony winner and author Carol Burnett is being honored Thursday for her lifetime achievements in entertainment.

The intersection of Highland Avenue and Selma Avenue in Hollywood will now officially be known as Carol Burnett Square.

The location is next to Hollywood High School, Burnett’s alma mater.

Burnett is widely recognized for her work on stage and screen, most memorably “The Carol Burnett Show.”
