CALABASAS, Calif. (KTLA) — Pop star Justin Bieber’s Calabasas neighbors were reportedly fed up with his behavior and were banding together to do something about it.
A group of residents in Bieber’s gated community, “The Oaks,” planned to withhold their monthly homeowners association dues until something was done, according to TMZ.
They hoped the move would force the homeowners association to give Bieber a stern reminder about the neighborhood’s rules.
Just last week, NFL star Keyshawn Johnson said he chased down the singer after he sped by him in his Ferrari.
When he confronted Bieber, the pop star said that it was a friend who was behind the wheel, Johnson said.
Deputies responded and interviewed Johnson, but Bieber declined to talk, said Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
“Based on the witness accounts, we are putting together a police report that focuses on a misdemeanor reckless driving,” Whitmore said.
It was the second time in the past few months that Bieber has been accused of reckless driving.
Prosecutors were still investigating an incident back in March where Bieber allegedly spit on a neighbor who confronted him about his driving.
