LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — A judge who appointed Katherine Jackson guardian of her granddaughter ordered an investigation into 15-year-old Paris Jackson’s apparent suicide attempt.

Judge Mitchell Beckoff asked a probate court investigator to prepare a report on the health, welfare and education of Paris, who is the daughter of the late pop star, Michael Jackson.


A probate court judge has ordered an investigation into Paris Jackson’s apparent suicide attempt.

Paris is under psychiatric evaluation after cutting her arm with a meat cleaver and taking a large amount of Motrin at her Calabasas home, celebrity website TMZ reported.

Judge Beckloff learned about the incident through media reports, according to TMZ.
