Sheriff’s deputies in riot gear responded to Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey.

The party was held at an area known as Mother’s Beach, a lagoon in the marina.

It reportedly started with an invitation sent via Twitter for a “blankets and bottles” party.

They were able to get the party under control in about an hour. The crowd was not violent and no arrests were made, authorities said.
