pink-dogWEST HOLLYWOOD (KTLA) — Authorities were searching Tuesday for a stolen pink bulldog.

The unusual canine weighs 200 pounds and was last seen wearing sneakers and carrying a water bottle.

The bulldog, created by Belgian artist William Sweetlove, was one of six sculptures installed along Santa Monica Boulevard for last Sunday’s gay pride parade.

Sweetlove could not be reached for comment Tuesday, the L.A. Times said.

But one of his representatives told the newspaper, the artist was willing to give a frog statue worth $1,600 as a reward for the person who leads authorities to the bulldog.

L.A. County sheriff’s deputies were reviewing area security tapes in hopes of tracking down the dognappers.
