High pressure centered over the Four Corners Region will bring a moist southeast flow to Southern California over the next couple of days.

This increase in moisture and instability will help to produce isolated thunderstorms over the mountains and deserts, with the best chances for storms happening  Wednesday night through Friday and mainly for the Inland Empire and San Diego.

The main impacts from these thunderstorms will be  brief heavy downpours, cloud to ground lightning, and gusty outflow winds.

Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo will also see this threat, but at this point, it looks like mostly early Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
