Man Wanted for Taking ‘Up-Skirt’ Pictures of Young Girls

CANOGA PARK, Calif. (KTLA) — Police were asking for the public’s help on Monday in identifying a man wanted for taking “up-skirt” photographs of young girls.


Man sought for taking ‘up-skirt’ pictures of young girls at mall.

It happened on July 20 around 3:45 p.m. at the Westfield Topanga Plaza Mall.

The man approached a 7-year-old girl while she was standing in line at the food court, according to an LAPD news release.

The man pointed a small camera in the direction of the girl’s dress before he was scared away by her mother.

The mother followed the man and witnessed him taking numerous “up-skirt” photographs of three unsuspecting teenage girls, police said.

He was able to leave the mall before security officers could stop him.

The man was described as white and about 65 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds.

He had light brown hair and was wearing a yellow shirt and glasses and carrying a brown backpack.
