The Latino Comics Expo is the only convention dedicated to showcasing Latino comic artists. MOLAA is proud to host the Expo’s first event in Los Angeles area. The expo begins at 1pm with screenings and panel discussions with participating artists.

This is the opening weekend of the Antelope Valley Fair. There’s fair food, fair entertainment, and the tradition of Rural Olympics. (((RECORD SCRATCH))) That’s right the Rural Olympics, where local community members participate in physically challenging events such as tractor pulls and hay baling contests.

The children are heading back to school. The whales are heading back north for the winter. We can see the endangered Blue Whales along with Dolphin and other fascinating sea life off the coast of Long Beach for the next few weeks. Take your camera aboard one of the Harbor Breeze whale watching vessels and be prepared to be amazed.

Little Toby the Harbor Seal, his mother, sister, and their sea lion friends are swimming and playing at the aquarium’s Seal and Sea Lion Habitat.
