Ruben Guerrero, 44, was taken into custody Thursday as he left his home in the 1500 block of Los Angeles Avenue, according to a press release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Detectives searched the home in the San Gabriel Valley city, which Guerrero owns with Cortez, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Authorities also searched a second house in the neighborhood, which belongs to the couple’s grandparents, neighbors told KTLA 5.

Guerrero was booked at the East Los Angeles sheriff’s station for sales of drugs near a school, according to the Sheriff’s department. He was later released on $60,000 bail.
