OCC Suspect Patrick Balahan

Patrick Balahan was arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to a female student at Orange Coast College.

An 18-year-old student told OCC security staff that she had been approached in the parking lot at 2701 Fairview Road earlier in the evening by a man who said he was conducting a survey.

After allegedly asking her a series of sexually explicit questions, the woman told authorities he exposed his genitals to her.

Patrick Balahan, 20, of Irvine, was detained by security personnel until Costa Mesa police officers arrived.

Balahan, who claimed he was a student at the college, told officers he talked to the woman, however denied exposing himself, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.

Balahan was placed under arrest and booked at the Costa Mesa Police Department Jail.
