The crash took place near the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Burlington Avenue in the Pico-Union area on Oct. 10.

The video showed a silver Hummer rear ending the woman’s car before speeding off.

The driver of the silver Hummer slowed down, but did not stop or identify himself after the crash, investigator I. Rojas of the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Both the mother and son have been released from the hospital and were recovering at home.
