A rabbi who worked at a local youth center was expected to be extradited to New York after being arrested in Beverly Hills on child sexual abuse charges.
Beverly Hills police, acting on an outstanding warrant that was signed by a judge in Brooklyn, took Menachem “Mendel” Tevel into custody Tuesday afternoon. He faces three counts of child sexual abuse.
