Hundreds of Pot Plants Seized at Alleged Grow House in Arcadia

Police seized 1,300 pot plants during a raid at a residence being used as a grow house in Arcadia, authorities said.

Officers served a warrant around 7 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of East Longden Avenue.

Inside the house, detectives discovered that the majority of the residence was being used as a sophisticated, indoor marijuana grow operation, according to a news release from the Arcadia Police Department.

The operation consisted of multiple rooms with irrigation, lighting, ventilation, and electrical wiring run throughout, the release stated.

Hundreds of marijuana plants, in various stages of growth, could be seen stacked out on the lawn of the home.

No one was at the home at the time of the raid and no arrests had been made.
