Kasem’s second wife, Jean, was providing exceptionally good care for the retired radio host based on all of the evidence, the judge said.

Kasem’s three children from his first marriage claim Jean has been preventing them from seeing their father, who suffers from advanced Parkinson’s disease.

“The man is very ill, it’s not healthy for him to have people marching in and out of the house,” Jean’s attorney Marshall Grossman said.

The judge ordered that an agreement determining how and when Kasem’s children would be allowed to visit their father be worked out by Dec. 20, when both sides were scheduled to return to court.
