Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Dog and Residential Burglary

A 22-year-old man was charged with burglary and bestiality in connection with separate crimes that occurred on the same night in San Pedro, police said Monday.

Christopher Caceres was accused of burglarizing a home on West O’Farrell Street on Nov. 10, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Later the night, police said, he entered the backyard of another residence and committed an act of bestiality on the family dog.  Caceres was captured on a home surveillance video, the release stated.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed multiple charges against Caceres relating to the burglary and bestiality.  His bail was set at $100,000. 

If convicted, Caceres faced up to nine years in prison.
