The victim was standing near the elevators on the A-Level of Murphy Hall when a man approached and asked her for directions, according to a University of California Los Angeles Police Department advisory.

The woman was then groped in what authorities described as a “brief touching.”

The attacker ran when the victim said she was calling the police, according to the advisory.

The man was described as Hispanic, 20-years-old, weighing about 160 pounds.

He was wearing a beige sweater with dark brown stripes, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black backpack, according to campus police.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the UCLA Detective Division at 310-825-9371.
