Extreme fire concerns today as Santa Ana winds are picking up, creating warm, windy and dry conditions. A Red Flag Warning will take effect at noon and continue through Sunday afternoon. There is also a High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory for much of Southern California. This afternoon, temperatures will top out in the mid 70s in the valleys and LA Basin, low 70s along the coast and 60s in the High Desert.
