Hot Dog Vendor Involved in Stabbing Outside Hollywood Nightclub

An investigation was underway Sunday into what set off a violent chain of events outside the Room 86 nightclub in Hollywood, authorities said.

At about 2:55 a.m. some type of altercation broke out at a hot dog cart near the club, which is located at 1634 Cosmo Street (map), according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

As tempers flared, one person was stabbed with an ice pick, police said.

The hot dog vendor was questioned and released, according to the LAPD.

So far no arrests have been made, police said.

The victim was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
