Students who arrived for classes at the South Gate campus of Career Colleges of America on Wednesday found the doors locked.


Student found the doors locked when they arrived for classes Wednesday at Career Colleges of America in South Gate.

Staff members at the campus told KTLA the school has been facing severe financial problems for months and that teachers finally walked off the job after months of not getting paid.

No administrators were available Wednesday to answer KTLA’s questions about the future of the private career college, which has 800 students enrolled at three campuses in Southgate, LA and San Bernardino.
