Surveillance video showed the knife-wielding robber as he grabbed money from a cash register drawer at a 7-Eleven in the 12200 block of Mountain Avenue early Friday morning.

The man was believed to be involved in robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Montclair and Ontario, as well as a Shell gas station in Ontario between the hours of 3:50 and 4:42 a.m. that same morning, according to Chino police spokeswoman Michelle Van Der Linden.

The man was described as a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s, with a thin build and very short brown hair.

He was seen in the video wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “Obey” on the front.

The man also had fresh cuts under his left eye and on his left hand, according to witnesses.

Anyone with information regarding the robberies or the suspect was asked to contact the Chino Police Department at 909-628-1234.
