Driver Killed After Car Crashed Into Orange County Home Identified

The driver who was killed when his car crashed into a house in the exclusive community of Coto de Caza in Orange County, was identified Saturday as 22-year-old Franz Nalezny of Trabuco Canyon, the Orange County coroner’s office said.

Nalezny vehicle was traveling southbound on Vista del Verde Friday night when it jumped the curb, bounced off a wall and hit a house, said Capt. Steve Concialdi with Orange County Fire Authority.

Sources told KTLA Nalezny lived in the gated community.

The car finally came to rest on top of a wall next to the house, he said.

The crash was reported around 8 p.m. near the corner of  Cherry Hills Drive and Vista del Verde.

A woman and her two young children, who were inside the house at the time of the crash, were not hurt, Concialdi said.
