Triple Shooting in Koreatown Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured

A 49-year-old man was killed and two women were injured after a shooting in Koreatown early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened near Southwestern University Law School around 12:20 a.m.

Police took one person into custody after a short foot pursuit that ended with the 35-year-old suspect being hit by a car, according to police.

“Officers were down the street. They heard gunfire and were directed to a suspect,” Lt. John Radtke with the Los Angeles Police Department said. “They chased the suspect. The suspect ran into the street and was hit by a car.”
