Home Depot Looking to Hire 80,000 Workers for Spring

Good news for job seekers, Home Depot announced they were planning to hire thousands of new workers as they prepare for their busiest selling season of the year — spring.

More than 80,000 positions were expected to be filled, according to a news release from Home Depot.

“Spring is our peak hiring season, giving us the opportunity to find some of the best associates who are passionate about customer service,” Tim Crow, executive vice president of human resources, said in the release.

Jobs would be made available on a market-by-market basis and individual store needs, according to the release.

All applicants were asked to apply online at www.careers.homedepot.com.

College students, retirees, veterans and reservists were encouraged to apply.
