In a photo that has been widely shared on social media, an unidentified man asks for help in arranging for his wife to meet former President George W. Bush.

“I’m a wounded warrior that wants to make my supportive wife’s dream come true in 2014.”

Those words are written on a sign held by a man in a photo that has gone viral on social media.

His wife’s wish? To meet former President George W. Bush.

The sign encourages people to “like and share” the photo, which was retweeted Saturday night by CNN anchor Jake Tapper.

“Anyone know who this wounded veteran is? Former President Bush’s office trying to track him down, thx,” Tapper wrote in the tweet.

In the photo, the unidentified man wears a hat with the Army’s 1 Cavalry Division patch on it, as well as the word “VETERAN.”

“Praying that it reaches President Bush,” the sign says, underneath an apparent photo of the man and his wife. “1 January 2014” is written in the bottom left corner.
