Two men were arrested in a series of violent takeover robberies at businesses across Orange County.

The arrests were announced at a news conference Wednesday by the leaders of the Santa Ana, Garden Grove and Anaheim police departments.

The suspects were linked to 12 violent robberies in less than a month in each of the three cities, police said.

Raul Ochoa and his accused accomplice Eric Gonzalez were arrested in part because of the “find my phone” feature on an iPhone stolen during one of their alleged robberies, Anaheim Police Capt. Ben Hittesdorf said.

A third robber was still being sought.
