Terrence Tekoh, 25, was accused of assaulting a patient who was awaiting a medical procedure in an examination room at the Boyle Heights hospital on Wednesday, a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated.

Detectives were asking for the public’s help identifying other potential victims, according to the release.

Tekoh was booked on suspicion of sexual penetration by a foreign object and was being held on $100,00 bail, the release stated. He was set to appear in court on April 10.

Tekoh was employed as a “certified nursing attendant” by Cross Country Per Diem, a company that provides contract personnel to the hospital, the Sheriff’s Department stated.

Tekoh, who worked in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Department, had been “terminated from hospital employment,” the release stated.
