Police, Relatives Seek Public’s Help in Finding Missing 79-Year-Old Woman

Police and family members were asking for the public’s help Thursday in finding a 79-year-old Los Angeles woman who has been missing for two weeks.

Carolyn Hudson was last seen March 6 walking from her residence in the 10000 block of South San Pedro Street (map), according to a news release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department.

She has not been heard from since, and her family is concerned for her saftey, police said.

Relatives told investigators that Hudson may be in need of treatment for a medical condition, the statement said.

Hudson was described as a black female with black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 4 inches and 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a Navy-blue coat and tan pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to contact Detective Merrill of the LAPD’s missing persons unit at 213-996-1800, or 877-527-3247 during non-business hours.
