Mother Bear, 3 Cubs Spotted Roaming Streets of Monrovia

A mother bear and her three cubs were caught on camera strolling through the streets of one neighborhood in Monrovia on trash day Monday.

The bears were spotted around 2:30 a.m. in a neighborhood adjacent to Bradbury and located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.

Police arrived shortly after 4 a.m. to survey the scene, according to Sgt. Daniel Verna of the Monrovia Police Department.

No disturbance calls were reported, according to Verna.
