A baby squirrel was recovering from a broken ankle and various other injuries Friday after falling 75 feet and landing on a concrete sidewalk.

A picture of the injured baby squirrel posted on the City Wildlife Facebook page.

The squirrel was brought to the City Wildlife rehabilitation center in Washington D.C., where a tiny cast was put on her damaged leg.

The squirrel also suffered a bloody nose and a broken tooth when she fell from her nest, City Wildlife posted on its Facebook page.

“Luckily, just like children, this squirrel is young enough that her ankle should heal very quickly,” the post read.

The City Wildlife post asked that you send your well wishes on a speedy recovery.
