Sketch Released in Search for Alleged Polliwog Park Molester

Police released a sketch on Wednesday in hopes of identifying a man believed to have molested a juvenile in a South Bay park restroom.

The incident happened on Friday, when the victim was approached by a man in the men’s restroom at Polliwog Park (map), Manhattan Beach police stated in a news release.

The man allegedly forced the juvenile to walk into a bathroom stall, where he fondled the victim’s genitals, according to police.

The victim described the attacker as a white man, in his 40s, with tan skin and mostly gray hair. Based on the description, police believe the man may be older.

The victim told police the attacker was about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build that was heavier around the midsection.

The man was wearing dark pants and a plain white t-shirt at the time of the attack, the news release stated.
