Man Suspected of False Imprisonment Wanted by Lancaster Sheriff’s Detectives

Detectives asked the public for help on Friday in locating a man wanted on suspicion of false imprisonment.

Sheldon Louis McClendon, 22, was described on a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department news release as one of Lancaster’s most wanted.

McClendon was wanted for false imprisonment, but no further details were given.

McClendon stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, according to the news release.

There was a $150,000 warrant for his arrest, the release stated.

Anyone with information regarding McClendon’s whereabouts was asked to call the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station at 661-948-8466.
