Cristobal Ortiz Rodriguez, 38, and his younger brother Eduardo Ortiz Rodriguez, 36, pleaded guilty in March to numerous felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14.

Between May 2010 and August 2011, brothers repeatedly molested the girls who lived in the same Fullerton neighborhood, prosecutors said.

At times the brothers were both present; on other occasions they acted alone, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The brothers bribed the girls not tell anyone about the sexual abuse with candy and ice cream, prosecutors said.

In court on Monday, the victims’ mother described the traumatic pain that her daughters continue to experience saying that “no mother or child should have to endure this lifetime of pain,” according to the release.
