Threats were allegedly made against people from the boy’s current school, as well as his former middle school in the nearby Etiwanda School District, according to officials. The name of that school was not released.

An investigation was launched after the boy’s posts were discovered on a website by a member of the public who contacted Fontana school district officials, the release stated.

School district police arrested the student and searched his property, but stated that no weapons were found.

Two other Fontana Middle School students were arrested as accomplices and were being investigated by school district police, according to the news release.

Fontana Unified School District police were working closely with the Etiwanda School District to ensure the safety of all students and staff in both districts, the news release read.
